things are looking up all over.
the rain seems to be slacking for the time-being. maybe more people won't get flooded in the biblical sense. this island continues to float.
but my mail account is getting heavily spammed and may be causing problems. this is no big loss. i rarely check the mail at that actual mailbox since i have it forwarded to the the other account. i was unaware of the spam attack.
the apartment inspection flunked. after it was over, i asked the inspector if it passed. he said yes. he lied to my face. a few days later i got a letter in the mail from him saying it flunked. maybe i frightened him.
the reason for the repeat mails is because the maintenance guy found the oven hood problem, the one that caused the flunk of the inspection.
it seems the oven hood wasn't working because it had no power. it was weak. the circuit breaker was simply breaking the circuit and the inspector was too stupid to figure it out at the time of the inspection.
in the process of discovering the thrown breaker, the maintenance guy benevolently threw the wrong switch and cut the electricity to my bedroom hence notebook while i was in the process of mailing mail.
things got really screwed up for a while. the battery kicked in, nothing lost but time.
inspector general returns wednesday to reinspect the oven hood to be positive it really sucks and he's not getting generally scammed.
the voucher my survive yet after all, and the island still hasn't capsized.
